Live Out There: Maps and Graphics Montage

We were asked by the team at Out There/Live Out There to take footage from their sponsored presentation and assemble a video that offered a ten minute slice of the full 1 hour talk. It featured champion heli-skiier Ingrid Backstrom discussing her experiences and was put on as part of the North Face Speaker Series. A selection of dynamic motion graphics and maps were produced to illustrate the scope of Ingrid’s travels and cohere the narrative segments together.

LIVE OUT THERE: MAPS AND GRAPHICS MONTAGE

Every year, LiveOutThere.com hosts and helps organize the Calgary installation of The North Face Speaker series. In 2014, the speaker was extreme heli-skiier, Ingrid Backstrom. Live Out There came to us with footage of the event and it was our job to condense the hour long talk into a ten minute video. Part of how we did this was through the use of dynamic animated map and motion graphic cutaways that reinforced Ingrid's exciting stories.
